Gion Festival

Posted by
Duncan Galbraith (kyoto, Japan) on 18 July 2007 in People & Portrait.

I dont particularly like this image. It might be part of a series as Im a little unsure of whether or not to post any more images. The gion festival is one of Japans biggest but photographically it didn't particularly excite me. It felt much akin to rocking up at a temple and taking shots of the same old same old just as millions of other tourists do each and every day. Nothing against tourists taking pictures mind, or anyone else taking pictures of what they wanna take pictures of but it's not my usual cuppa tea. Anyway, There's some stuff sat on my hard disk which may see the light of AM3...especially as Ive been super slack of late with the camera and the archives are pretty much empty....
