Aye, this is fine stuff! A surreal sort of shot with the world all melty apart from the photographer who's pointing his lens up at the sky - toward the viewer(!) And on top of everything else, there's a great face smiling up at us in the top of the photo. As to the Socrates quote, I think the Bruces said it best:
Yes, Socrates, himself, is particularly missed, A lovely little thinker, But a bugger when he's pissed.

This is an intriguing photo Duncan. I begin to understand how adept you are at framing with your LCD. There are distinct advantages on and off trains! I am very impressed with this composition and it occurs to me that I am missing seeing the world from another perpective. Thanks for the inspiration once again .. I'll be trying this out during the weekend.
