Seems to represent so much of life experiences.Who is she? 10 Jul 2007 2:02pm Stu from Kyoto, JapanCrackin' shot. Don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry or what. Reminds me of one of those gurners from years ago..... 10 Jul 2007 2:09pm Vinay from Bangalore, IndiaA very good at the same time a very disturbing shot!!! All the best for your future too.... 10 Jul 2007 3:11pm Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesThis reminds me that beauty (or lack thereof) is only skin deep. When I look at an image like this I must remind myself that there is probably a marvelous soul inside! Great capture Duncan. 10 Jul 2007 3:39pm Eduardo from Santaigo, ChileMe gustó muchoo esta imagen. Sobre todo el contraste que tiene. Saludos 10 Jul 2007 4:08pm our little hood from bruges, Belgiumhaaahaa, this is super, it's like her head is laying on the scanner of a copy machine 10 Jul 2007 6:54pm SGP from Atlanta, United Statesfantastic portrait. everything about it is well done. 11 Jul 2007 12:35am Anthony from Singapore, SingaporeNice detailed capture, sending quite a message to the reader. 11 Jul 2007 3:14am @Anthony: thanks for the feedback. I shot this very much on the fly and there wasnt really much time to weigh up my options to be honest. I stopped cropping images a while back and tend to post what I composed at the scene so it certainly wasnt a post processing choice. But opinions are always welcome and much appreciated. Its what makes us grow after all. Thanks again for the thoughts. Candace from Emmaus, United StatesWow...her face says so much. I feel so sad looking at her. 11 Jul 2007 4:27am Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaI'm with Stu: this catches the viewer in spot where one is unsure whether to smile at her or dodge the spitball that she looks like she might be working up. Certainly time for some flowers and bunnies. However, it is quite an odd and fascinating portrait. Her face looks as though it's pressed up against a window - or perhaps just flattened from sleeping. I wish her well. 14 Jul 2007 6:32pm |
