@Fernando D. Rubio: Thank you Fernando!
There is such a great feel to this image - i love the movement, low lighting and heavy tones.

@Michelle Bialowas: Thanks Michelle! always appreciate your visits!
A real urban's picture. Nice shot!
28 Mar 2007 6:54am
@Martine Lapointe: Thanks Martine!
Very Orwellian, I love it. That urban-concrete-grey, the camera that constantly prys into peoples lives, the blurred nature of the man in the shot. The subtext here is fascinating, I'd go as far as to say it's my favourite photo of yours to date. Awesome work mate!!!

@Chris Sullivan: Awww...youve made me day/week/year. many thanks Chris!

@John Hartman: The man in black..watch yourself John!
Very nice! As Chris said it does have the Orwellian feel!
28 Mar 2007 7:58am
@Jen: Thanks Jen!
Woah... very cool indeed... Orwellian, yes. Touch of "The Matrix" for the younger folks perhaps. For me, I'm thinking it's a new album from Pet Shop Boys.

@Daroru: ;-)
Fabulous effect...
28 Mar 2007 8:59am
@badala: thanks badala!
its got Kakoi written all over it. Very creative.

@Colour blind: cheers Kelly!
Strange. I agree with Jen about the Orwellian feel. My only thought is a gritty b&w conversion would greatly enhance that feeling.
28 Mar 2007 9:58am
@Daniel: Aye, I thought about that...Its a good call. Ill have a play around and maybe backdate a post. Ill let you know when its up. cheers Daniel.
I think this could be straight out of a music video.. Great shot. I really like this one

Duncan, I really apologize for my spelling(typing) mistake of your name above my comment....sorry....
28 Mar 2007 12:22pm
@Yukie: oh my god Yukie! The next time I see you...watch out! ;-) I like duncun more anyway, its phonetically better!
This has a real narrative quality to it. I like to think of it as surveying the surveillance camera! Post processing is great as usual!!!
28 Mar 2007 12:27pm
@Craiger: Thanks mate!
I like it.
28 Mar 2007 1:06pm
@Reza: Cheers Reza!
You're being watched. It gives me the creeps, but I love your photo to give me that effect. Well done.
28 Mar 2007 4:23pm
@Yvon: Thanks Yvon! hope the creeps go away soon enough!
Nice, you given this a very 1984 feel for sure, the toning or coloring is excellent.
28 Mar 2007 10:02pm
@Rene: Thanks Rene!
My fave of the three City 17 shots so far, and coincidentally where the series starts to take shape. Very exciting photography! Mention G.O. if it needs a comparative label, but there's also a feeling of ambiguity that I really like. More please!
28 Mar 2007 11:15pm
@Damon Schreiber: Aye, its my fave so far too. As for taking shape...Im as ever, shooting on a day by day basis so the city will hopefully throw some more things at me over the next few days. Im having a wee interlude from the 30th in order to deliver a bit of weekend cheer to folks but hopefully back into City 17 come monday. The inspiration actually came from a video game (wikipedia city 17 for background to the source...its basically Orwellian in tone)
A powerful image on the anxiety in the city!
