Aaron Schmidt from Auckland, New ZealandVery nice post-production here. So what are they broadcasting in City 17? 26 Mar 2007 8:13am @Aaron Schmidt: hey mate! good to be back on...as for your question all will be revealed in post number 4... Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanI like the processing in this one Duncan, really cool, gives you a feeling of matte painting! 26 Mar 2007 8:28am @Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Thanks Alfredo! @Lazy Aussie: Thanks so much! Colour blind from Tokyo, Japanwow scary mate. this looks like something out of the world wars. it's so industrial I love it. Everything is dark but not dark enough to be able to see the things in the background. your pp has jumped to a whole new level. 26 Mar 2007 10:25am @Colour blind: Cheers Kelly! I'm trying a few new things, proessing wise but more specifically concept wise over the next few days...dunno whats gonna happen but its a good 'rut-breaker' @Nick Passantino: Thanks Nick! Angry Buddha from United StatesVery different for you. Great processing nonetheless. I love the bleak, horror movie-feel of this. 26 Mar 2007 5:50pm @Angry Buddha: Thanks Sean...trying a few new things over the next few days...crash and burn at some point but its restored me desire to shoot/process. Thanks again for all your comms in my absence. @Jen: Thanks Jen! @Still: Thanks Still! Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaI remember a similar styled shot you took a few months back of a factory with the same kind of colour treatment as this one here. It works very well, especially with this kind of subject matter. The blurred lighting overlay also lends itself well to this scene. Nice job mate! 27 Mar 2007 5:29am @Chris Sullivan: Thanks Chris, youve a good eye, as this was a very similar treatment via PS. @Stu: Cheers mate! Michelle Bialowas from Melbourne Victoria, AustraliaLike your comments above, I really like the processing. The image has a great dark milky. Excellent composition. 28 Mar 2007 11:39am @Michelle Bialowas: Thanks Michelle! Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaI have no idea what this is, but it looks frightfully ominous! Kind of reminds me of the stories I've read about the loudspeakers in Cultural Revolution-era China blaring the national anthem from morning to night in the town square. I find the processing gives it an oddly flat feeling at least to me, though I do dig the colours. 29 Mar 2007 3:52am @Damon Schreiber: Cheers mate! I'm clueless as to its purpose but It seemed to fit my little series Ive got on the go. Mike Cash from Kiryu, JapanFor months I've been wondering how to get an interesting shot out of all those damnedable eyesore towers that clutter the sky....and you go and do it! 1 Apr 2007 7:56am @Mike Cash: cheers man! |
