I don't know what's supposed to be desperate, but this photo rules. I love the trees against the milky backdrop of the sky. Don't bother clicking onto my page... I proper need a camera.

While there's nothing at all wrong with this photo, I do sympathize with your dipping-in-the-archives blues. At least you have the excuse of being sick and not being able to shoot. It's worse when you're actually out shooting every day and still find yourself having to hunt through past images in search of something presentable (yes, me).

Ah well, this is why it's important to amass a deep archive. So anyway, this is a cool shot, and if I can be permitted to let the imagination run free, it's a giant hand clawing its way fingers-first up from the cold earth. Anyway it definitely has that pent-up feeling.

Very cool, looks like some mutant spider's been buried upside down with his legs still in the air. Colour treatment is also superb, the reds especially highlighting the shot well.
