Classic, has a certain nostalgic feel with the meeting of two generations. This is one of the best black & white photos I've seen on this site, the tones the expression on your subjects face; had it been shot in New York it could have easily been used as coverage for Raging Bull or Mean Streets. Excellent work.
I'm curious to know if you knelt and took the shot or surreptitiously held the camera down at that level. Either way, the level of the shot certainly makes a big difference here. On a side note, one of the these days I'm going to track down the source of those ubiquitous "rear car" carts. I've never seen one that was obviously brand new, never seen them for sale anywhere, the design looks decades old....yet they never run out of the damned things. It's a maddening mystery.
