A bit aimless at the moment...Needing a bit of focus, scattershot stuff from all over the place this last week. Anyway, I enjoyed the brief recital they gave before I had to sink into the subway system for the last train home.

I like the motion blur even if that was unintentional.

@Shuva: Thanks Shuva! The motion blur was a lucky get, although the slow shutter speed (it was pretty dark) told me Id get something, lucky it wasnt their faces though!
Haha! Looks like they are having fun.

Brilliant off-the-cuff shot! Blur is especially evocative in this one!

Rock on baby yeah!!! So cool the motion blur really tickles my brain of imagination of what it really was. Exciting shot mate.

@Colour blind: Cheers Kelly!
I don't even think the guy on the right is trying :) Nice work Duncan.

@Angry Buddha: I dont think so too. He was too busy looking 'rock' and checking his hair ;)
awesome capture.

@Rebecca: Cheers Rebecca!
nice shot, Duncan ... looks like the guy sitting down might be thinking more about his last train than the music too ..

@jc: ;) 'train, my hair, those girls over there'...thats my take on his thoughts ;)
Nice one mate, steady hands for 1/25. Another cool shot of muscians, I like the way they lend themselves to the audience as they seem quite enthused and excited about sharing their music, a great trait to have across all art-forms; athough the guy on the right seems quite subdued it works because he's at a different level to the other two creating some nice visual tension. I wish I took photos like this when i'm feeling aimless!

@Chris Sullivan: Cheers Chris! The aimless stuff is hit and miss, as tomorrows post will attest (the train girl)..I dont like tomorrows to be honest. but what the hell...live and learn eh! These guys were mighty fine though, very tight and they had the moves down pat, although the guy on the right....he had other stuff on his mind I think.
Nice Street shot Duncan!

@Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Cheers Alfredo!
Funny shot! I saw a lot of this kind of combo in Japan, playing enthusiastically for streetniks who for the most part couldn't care less. There's a curious balance in this one with the gal in the centre anchoring it, with an awesome rocknroll expression and pose, while the chaps to the left and right both appear a bit stunned: the guy on the left is off balance as if the guitar's getting away from him, and the one on the right so much so that he had to sit down.

@Damon Schreiber: Aye, that guy on the right made it for me, he looks like a zoned candidate. he did seem remarkably fixated on a particular group of girls who were in turn quite fixated on him...The girl was a true star, had all the moves, the voice, and the attitude, the guitarist was cycling through the cliched (yet cool) rock stances, busted out a few moddish moves too. nice little unit.
