Rene from Kitchener-Waterloo, CanadaOk thats a little funky, I am following along and thinking ok this is nice and then wham, I get hit with the whole alien guy in the window. Nice 14 Feb 2007 5:44am @Rene: Cheers Rene. think he got lucky, valentines day worked for him! Bronnie from Christchurch, New ZealandWonderful, slightly off-the-wall, but wonderful! 14 Feb 2007 6:04am @Bronnie: Thanks Bronnie! Untitled from Kyoto, JapanThey are indeed! Or do you mean you? Can just about see you... 14 Feb 2007 3:09pm @Untitled: Aha, the love triangle has been spotted. I didnt want to come between them so I bowed out gracefully. They were last seen skipping down Sanjo Dori picking out matching outfits. @Behrooz: thanks Behrooz! Michelle Bialowas from Melbourne Victoria, AustraliaI admire the chances you take with your camera - the end results are rewarding. The girl is walking with such a great beat - nice work. 14 Feb 2007 3:38pm @Michelle Bialowas: Thanks you Michelle! Your visits are always appreciated, and thank you for the kind words of support! Zach Siebert from Bologna, Italythis is my kind of pic! sorry i haven't been round lately. i too have been mentally busy. 14 Feb 2007 6:54pm @Zach Siebert: Me too Zach, Im finding it hard to find the time of late, apologies from myself also. Thought you'd like this one ;) Zach Siebert from Bologna, Italyoh, and you may enjoy this http://hame.ca/tiltshift.htm. I still remember those coffee shop pics you posted awhile back. 14 Feb 2007 6:57pm @Zach Siebert: aha! cheers Zach! Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaCheers to all the star-crossed lovers out there! If then lovers have been ever crosse'd, or to cite another example... There was a man who never was. I hope it works out for the two you've shown here. It's a good and funny image. Her face is like ivory. You might try cropping just at the top of the reflected strip of light. I find it cuts down on the distractions and helps the eye focus on your protagonists. 14 Feb 2007 7:17pm @Damon Schreiber: Many thanks for the quotes, most apt for the day! I think these two ended up getting it on. Hooorah! Anne from White Rock, CanadaQuite a weird image really! I love your portraits better! I do like the way you caught the girl walking - I find too many reflection distractions in the window. :) 14 Feb 2007 7:31pm @Anne: Reflections are admittedly the fatal flaw in this but I just couldnt resist posting it today of all days. It was taken initially for my own amusement and I didnt worry too much about the technicalities.. @Angry Buddha: Cheers Sean. Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaAptly titled mate! The quirkiness and comedic undertones as well as what can be read into the imagery or themes on such a day make for an interesting photo. I think the reflection having the strong presence it does is what brings is all together, tying in all the themes nicely. You've shown great versatility over the past few shots, you've put some very inspiring material out there, keep it up mate! 14 Feb 2007 8:48pm @Chris Sullivan: Thanks Chris, apologies for the lack of AM3/comms of late...work is rather manic at the moment. Im getting round to replying to comments first and catching up second (it will be done!). Thanks as ever, for all your feedback Chris! Still from Valence, FranceThis shot in its composition and colours wear your signature undoubtedly! Reall y a nice one! 14 Feb 2007 10:43pm @Still: Thanks Still! @Pero: Thanks Pero! Evelyn from New Milford, United StatesHaha, for some reason this reminds me of Death Note...have you seen that in Japan? 15 Feb 2007 2:58am @Evelyn: Aha...Death Note..Ive read the manga, yet not got around to seeing the movie. Is it good? hope so, because its sitting in my video store and your comment has given me the mind to pick it up! Michael Zhang from New York City, United StatesHAHA. Very clever how the ALIEN is clawing at the attractive girl walking by. Very very clever. 15 Feb 2007 3:04am @Michael Zhang: Cheers Michael! how you doing with that little project btw? @Prashanth: Thanks Prasanth! Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanNice casual shot, I liked the alien waiting for the next victim, so cool! 15 Feb 2007 3:08pm @Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Thanks Alfredo! Mike Cash from Kiryu, JapanGirls like her are what I call "Self-Propelled Sidewalk Art".
