Hey folks. I'll be online today as I have some time in the evening to catch up, looking forward to it. Cheers for all your visits and comments over the past few days whilst Ive been away. They've worked wonders for recharging the batteries and what not. Take it easy people.

Looks like a great singer. Still exploring your other styles...still loving it mate. Keep it up. I reckon this photo would have really worked as a close up of this face and mic only. That's just what I think anyway.

@Colour blind: Thanks man. good idea and I wish I'd gotten in closer to be honest. These guys play quite often apparantly at the same spot (stus seen em before) so a retake will be done if I catch 'em!

Wow, once again a cosmic coincidence. Very nice image, and if as you say he wasn't that hot with his guitar, it doesn't matter because rock and roll is all about image and he looks so cool with his kahki jacket and orange telecaster. The 'no scooters or bikes' sign behind him does tend to diminish his star power, though.

Duncan , I've just been back through your last few days and you are on one serious role at the moment .. absolutely fantastic stuff! the portraits have an assurance about them which really is impressive and the processing has been spot on, keep it up mate!

Your portraits are just great. I like this composition with just enough to show he is on the street. The upper part of this musician against the dark sky separates him and leaves the photo great and uncluttered.

Nice one mate, I like shots of musicians doing their thing. Youv'e captured this guys creativity, or at least his style very well; the details like the building lights in the background the no bikes sign and the red light of his amp make for an interesting backdrop - or as Michael says: "Great sense of 'street'".
