Aaron Schmidt from Auckland, New ZealandLove the splashes of colour everywhere, the shallow DoF, and the overall composition. This is a great shot. 23 Jan 2007 8:16am @Aaron Schmidt: Thanks a lot Aaron. Lucca's café from Cologne, GermanyNice work. I like it a lot. Great composition and colors! 23 Jan 2007 9:47am @Lucca's café: Thanks Mate! Pero from Kyoto, JapanOh, fantastic processing. You should teach me how to do it, mate. I just wonder how you took this. It's really close. 23 Jan 2007 11:38am @Pero: Next time I see you, I'll give you the rundown! @Craig Persel: Thanks mate! much appreciated. @Stu: Cheers Man! enjoy your new club! @Shuva: ;) maybe. cheers shuva! Colour blind from Tokyo, JapanPP is great...love the soft edges and the harsh detail especially around his face. You've got a knack of capturing them when then face is so full of emotion. The super exposed areas of the picture don't bother me in the slightest either. 23 Jan 2007 5:09pm @Colour blind: Thanks Kelly. The super exposed areas were in fact ok in RAW but like the emptiness idea and blew the whites out. Myst from Bologna, ItalyI love the different colours! What's he thinking.......? 23 Jan 2007 5:09pm @Myst: Thanks Myst! As to what he's thinking...wish I could tell you. @Martine Lapointe: Cheers Martine! Jason Kravitz from Brussels, Belgiumgood one Duncan - This guy looks like he commutes a lot ! 23 Jan 2007 5:23pm @Jason Kravitz: Cheers Jason! @Angry Buddha: aye. Guess he had a long day! Cheers Sean! @Maoya: Cheers MAoya. Im digging you current series too! those chairs need an agent! @adalove: Thanks adalove! @jc: Cheers John! Had a bit of fun with this one, tried to really amp up the emptiness of the shot visually in order to some way mirror what I invisaged was going through his mind at this point. The disabled logo seemed to be making its own little comment so I left in ;) Still from Valence, FranceInteresting organisation of the space and wonderful expression! 23 Jan 2007 8:34pm @Still: Thanks Still, He proved a good subject...didnt move for the whole ride! Craiger from Vacaville, California, United StatesWhat a subject! Great job! Great Composition! 23 Jan 2007 9:26pm @Craiger: Thanks Craiger! Chris Sullivan from Melbourne, AustraliaAwesome use of saturated tones here and fluro-lights in the reflection. The guys expression says it all - well shot and processed! 23 Jan 2007 9:48pm @Chris Sullivan: Cheers Chris. Ive been a bit taken with windows of late, and this one was my initial subject until matey here got in on the act! @Lorenzo: Cheers Lorenzo. maybe a little too laid back to the point of zombification. Mammoth in Chief from Naperville, United StatesWhoa... He looks like one very bored person... Then again, public transportation isn't that exhilarating... I used to have to take it in Warsaw, not very good memories. Especially one bus stop to which the busses only came every half hour. I missed them sometimes :-( Nice shot, enjoying your public transportation pics... 24 Jan 2007 1:37am @Mammoth in Chief: Hey Mammoth! commiserartions on your public transportation experiences, me, I love it to be honest but Japans system is frighteningly effecient. Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaEr...totally gratuitous! Still, the wheels are firmly in place (yay!) and the focus is 'correct'. Now what is your man here thinking? How his phone is a poor substitute for human interaction, but still better than nothing? 24 Jan 2007 4:50am @Damon Schreiber: hehe..whatevers going through his mind I wouldnt want to share, judging from his expression. Cheers Damon. @Sidney: Thanks again Sidney! Nick Passantino from Bronx, United StatesLove subway shots, and this one perfectly captures his emotions. Great shot. 26 Jan 2007 6:26am @Nick Passantino: Thanks Nick, your visit is always appreciated. @Untitled: totally shot and totally vacant. like me after a wednesday shift ;) @Tim: yup. he does indeed! @Orson: i think so too;) @Jerry: Cheers Jerry! |
