This was a different location to the other two images so far and the 'muscle' did not take too kindly to me snapping away. In and out and never to return. This could be and end to the series unless I find a new location bereft of 'muscle'.
Amended description 10.00pm Japan time. This is the last image. I indeed have just returned from another 2 locations, and was told in no uncertain terms to leave. Oh well, I cant really complain, It's not as if they owe me any images or anything, and I was indeed going in without playing or having any intention to play Pachinko. Maybe a less conspicuous point and shoot camera and a future visit may see a return to the series but for now it's finished. After all this adult orientated 'action', tomorrow will mark a return to more innocent fare...

Well mate it was a good series while it lasted. Hope you're as good a runner as you're a photographer if you continue. Interesting trivia for you, most Pachinko Palors in Japan are actually owned by Koreans and not Japanese.

It's a shame you couldn't do more photos. But the serie is quite nice. Thanks for risking your life to give us those photos ^^.

oh man, that's too bad about the 'muscle'. Though a great experience for every photographer to go through. I almost was deported once for snapping some Polizia beating on gypsies! This shot is great. I love pictures of bald men perhaps because i am one. Though I got to say again that yesterday's pic was freakin' awesome!

I like your point of view here. It makes us hesitate between participate to the action of the player, or participate at your the action of snapping... interesting series.

You've almost captured exactly what must be going through that guys mind. Great photo!

This would be a hard series to pull off. You are to be commended for your bravery. I didn't imagine they'd let you get away with it for too long. I bet you're not the most inconspicuous person in a place like that. I'm imagining the network of pachinko parlour managers spreading the word that there's this henna gaijin wandering around with a camera, and to be on the lookout. I got yelled at in Japan once for photographing a cake shop through the front window(!). They actually ran out onto the sidewalk to scold me. And I'd say you took it up a notch or 5.
Anyhow, it was fun while it lasted. I like this one particularly for showing what it is that's so fascinating that it glues people to these games for hours at a time. Not much as it turns out. Ah well; I'd say you were lucky to get out while you still could.
