I was in two minds about uploading this as I prefer the former picture and feel like this is somewhat detracting. But it does illustrate quite clearly the lantern itself which I thought would be nice if anyone has any ideas of popping over this way and is in dire need of a drink...This is what you should be looking for.

Well done. The reflection really adds to the image.

I really like it. For me, this version works better than yesterday's as it shows more clearly points of reference: the manhole cover and the form of the lantern. also, it seems generally sharper. Great work!

Like Damon said, I prefer it than the previous. Nice light shot!

IMHO, I would crop it so that just the reflection would be the subject of my image with detailed floor as my background. I like the mood conveyed.

In my opinion this image works much better than the previous one. It's the sort of image I'd see and instantly want to crop to give a more standard composition, but actually works better as it is. The composition somehow supports the image as a whole. I would be interested to see how this works with a lens less wide. Great work.

@Jon Osborne: Thank you Jon. Pontocho is such a great location to shoot in, Ill probably return here at some point and give you a few more 'close in' shots.
Great reflection. The details are spectacular.
